As a result of this accident, one person died and three others were injured. The victim who died was named Sutrisno (45), a resident of Genuk, Semarang, who was known to be a passenger in the truck.
Purworejo Police Chief AKBP Andry Agustiano led the evacuation process, along with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Transportation Agency, and the Purworejo Fire Department. Officers also cleaned up the diesel fuel spill to prevent a fire. Part of the Purworejo-Magelang route was temporarily closed, causing material losses of approximately Rp 50 million.
According to Purworejo Police Traffic Unit Chief, AKP Arta Dwi Kusuma, the Hino truck with license plate number H 9861 OF allegedly lost control on a busy, downhill road, then hit two cars in front of it (a Toyota Avanza and a Suzuki Carry) before hitting a kiosk and overturning. Police are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident.

Joint officers from the Surabaya Police, BPBD, and Satpol PP evacuated the victim and concluded that this incident was a work accident due to mechanical malfunction and safety procedure errors.

A fire broke out in the parking area under the Karang Anyar Highway overpass in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (November 12, 2025) at around 7:30 a.m. WIB. Three cars were destroyed, and one resident suffered burns.
Based on initial investigations, the fire is suspected to have originated from a gas leak in a Kijang car parked nearby. Sparks then spread to two nearby vehicles. Residents attempted to extinguish the blaze before seven fire trucks arrived on the scene.
The injured victim, Jajang (52), is now receiving medical treatment, while the police are still investigating the exact cause of the fire.

The fire that broke out in the morning forced firefighters (Gulkarmat DKI Jakarta) to work for more than three hours to control the fire.

Ferry Sinks in West Kutai Waters, Killing 4 and Leaving 4 Missing
A ferry accident occurred in the waters off Ujoh Halang, West Kutai Regency, on Monday evening (November 10, 2025). After receiving a report from the West Kutai Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Balikpapan Class A Search and Rescue Office immediately dispatched a joint SAR team to conduct a search and rescue operation.
Head of Operations and Alert Section, Endrow Sasmita, said that all resources have been deployed to expedite the search at coordinates 0°2’51.42″N 115°34’9.62″E. It is suspected that the ship sank due to overloading at night.
This operation involved Basarnas (National Search and Rescue Agency) Balikpapan, the Indonesian Army (TNI AD), the West Kutai Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), and PT. BDL West Kutai. The Search and Rescue Unit (SRU) team departed from Balikpapan early Tuesday morning (November 11, 2025) and arrived at the location that afternoon to continue the search for the remaining missing victims, including Ira, Ilham, Pendi, Anci, Sello, Yanto, Dedy, and Bogel.
Basarnas appealed to fishermen and sea users in the surrounding area to be alert and immediately report if they find signs of victims.

A rice bran warehouse in Pasuruan was completely destroyed by fire, causing losses of hundreds of millions of rupiah.
A massive fire engulfed Yasin’s (56) bran warehouse in Tempuran Hamlet, Trewung Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency, early Wednesday morning (11/12/2025) at around 02.30 WIB. While residents were still sleeping, the fire suddenly grew and engulfed the entire contents of the warehouse, which contained piles of dry bran.
Residents, awakened by the smell of burning, immediately attempted to extinguish the fire with whatever tools were available, but the blaze quickly spread. Three fire trucks from the Pasuruan City and Regency governments were deployed to extinguish the blaze.
According to Grati Police Chief, First Inspector Prasetyo Budiarto, the initial suspicion is that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit inside the warehouse. There were no casualties, but losses are estimated to reach hundreds of millions of rupiah. Officers are still investigating and are urging residents to inspect their electrical installations to prevent similar incidents.
