Head of Operations for the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, said that the accident started when the car was traveling from Cawang to Tanjung Priok.

“At the location of the Scout red light, in front of the East Jakarta Damkar Sub-dept. office, the pickup unit lost control,” said Gatot in Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Tuesday (4/10/2022).

As a result of losing control, at high speed the car that Usep was riding with his assistant named Njen hit the molen truck driving in front of him.

At the same time, an Avanza car drove from behind, which hit the back of the car like Usep was driving, so that the victim’s vehicle was squeezed.

“As a result of the accident, the pickup driver’s leg was caught on the dashboard. The kernet then reported to us asking for assistance in evacuating the driver’s leg which was pinched and we immediately followed up,” he said.

Gatot said that as many as two light rescue units, an ambulance unit, along with eight personnel from the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency were deployed in the evacuation.

Slowly, East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. personnel pulled the front of the wrecked vehicle so that Usep’s leg could be evacuated.

“We started the evacuation at 03.34 WIB, finished at 04.00 WIB. Thank God the victim’s leg could be evacuated from the dashboard of the vehicle and immediately given medical treatment,” he said.

  1. Excessive Burden- Broken As, Truck Slips Trigger Congestion in Karangasem

Karangasem – A single accident occurred on the Amlapura-Denpasar Highway, Banjar Dinas Pengalon, Antiga Kelod Village, Manggis, Karangasem, Monday (3/10/2022).

Suspected of having a broken axle, a truck with police number DK 8284 FN driven by I Putu Wahana Prayoga (23) from Pesinggahan Village, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency slipped and triggered a traffic jam.

Kelian Banjar, I Made Widia, said that the truck skidded due to a broken axle due to excessive loading. The truck slid to the left almost overturning.

“Traffic flow was experiencing a bit of congestion, but now it’s back to normal,” said Widia, Monday (3/10/2022).

Based on information, the chronology of the single accident began when the truck came from Denpasar to Nusa Penida carrying building materials such as cement, plywood, and wood.

When arriving at the scene, suddenly the axle of the truck broke so that the truck skidded to the left of the road. As a result of slipping, the truck load containing building materials was scattered onto the road.

Luckily there were no fatalities or injuries in the incident. Building materials that had been scattered can still be saved and now the truck can be evacuated.

  1. Overload-Broken Axle, Truck Slips Trigger Congestion in Karangasem

TRIBUNJOGJA.COM, GUNUNGKIDUL – A 6-year-old boy died after being run over by a tourism bus on Saturday (01/10/2022).

This accident (laka) occurred in the vicinity of Drini Beach, Kapanewon Tanjungsari, Gunungkidul.

Head of the Subdivision of Public Relations of the Gunungkidul Police, AKP Suryanto, said that this incident occurred in the middle of the day, precisely in the Kalurahan area of ​​Banjarejo.

“The victim died with the initials RPA (6), from Tanjungsari,” he explained on Sunday (02/10/2022).

According to Suryanto, the tourist bus involved in the accident was driven by DK (45).

At that time, the bus with the police number AD 1411 CU was just about to leave the Drini Beach area.

DK then intended to park the bus for a moment on the left side of the road. He drove to the right then walked backwards. “At that time the RPA was on the right side of the bus, walking,” said Suryanto.

However, the position of the RPA at that time was not visible to DK from the side of the steering wheel alias entered the blind spot. Because it was not visible, the DK continued to retreat until it finally hit the RPA. As a result, the RPA was immediately hit and fell and was run over.

According to Suryanto, RPA died instantly after being run over by a bus. “The victim died with serious head injuries,” he said.

This incident is now being handled by the Gunungkidul Police Traffic Unit. The bus involved in the accident has now been secured, along with the ownership documents for further investigation.

The Head of the Gakkum Satlantas Polres Gunungkidul, Iptu Darmadi, said that the provisional suspicion that the cause of the accident was the negligence of DK as the driver. He is considered less careful when trying to park the bus. “The person concerned did not pay attention to the safety of pedestrians around him, causing an accident,” he explained.

The alleged violation of human rights was allegedly because the security forces violated the rules made by FIFA in FIFA Stadium Safety and Security which stated that tear gas was prohibited from being used in stadiums. 

“We will investigate the use of tear gas in the Kanjuruhan Tragedy,” said Komnas HAM Commissioner M Choirul Anam.

In addition, Amnesty International Indonesia’s Executive Director, Usman Hamid, condemned the use of tear gas by officers inside the stadium.

“Whereas in the regulations issued by FIFA, tear gas is prohibited from being used in stadiums,” said Usman Hamid.

Wonogiri – A work accident occurred at PT Paper Prima Indonesia (PPI) which is located at Wonokerto Village, Wonogiri City District, Wonogiri. As a result, one of the workers from Karanganyar Regency died.

“It is true that there was a work accident there (PT PPI), at around 05.45 WIB. The victim died,” said the Head of Wonokerto Village, Suyanto, Monday (3/10/2022).

Suyanto said the worker who died in the work accident was Sumingkir (52) a resident of Matesih, Karanganyar. After receiving the news of the accident, Suyanto and a number of staff came to the scene.

The work accident, said Suyanto, started when the victim was trying to connect a broken piece of paper. However, the victim’s hand was caught. Then the victim fell from the second floor and died.

“The machine is on the second floor. The victim fell to the first floor. We along with officers from the puskesmas and police evacuated the victim and then took him to the hospital. The victim was taken to the funeral home and buried. The family accepted and accepted. The company also provided assistance,” he said.

It is known, last April there was also a work accident at the paper factory. The victim also died as a result of the incident at that time.

In response to this, Suyanto stated that there had been an evaluation from the company after the first incident or last April. Namely, the company provides additional security. Regarding the second incident, Suyanto as the regional stakeholder will conduct an evaluation with the company.

“We’ve met with management earlier, we will evaluate together so that an incident like this doesn’t happen again. There are already safeguards (but accidents) can happen again, whether it’s because of the physical workers or what will be investigated as well as looking for anticipation,” said Suyanto.

Meanwhile, when asked for confirmation, PT Paper Prima Indonesia HRD Heru Pranoto admitted that he was still waiting for an investigation from the police.

A fire in a storage tank filled with diesel fuel at PT Taruna Bina Sarana Linc Terminal Area, which is in the Port area of ​​PT Pelindo Ciwandan,” said the Police Chief. Cilegon AKBP Eko Tjahyo Untoro through a written statement Sunday (2/10).

The fire from the tank was said to have shocked residents around the port, especially in Ciwandan District. Cilegon firefighters then deployed 5 fire engines and 1 car belonging to PT Pelindo.

“One unit of PT Pelindo firefighters and 5 units of the Cilegon City Fire Department were extinguished and an evacuation of employees in the area has been carried out,” he said.
