A series of accidents occurred on Jalan Raya Cileungsi-Jonggol, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Monday (17/3) evening. A fuso truck hit four cars at once, causing serious traffic jams in the pouring rain!
Fuso Truck Hits Cars in a Row!
According to Bogor Police Head of Traffic Unit AKP Rizky Guntama, the accident started when the fuso truck was driving from Cileungsi towards Jonggol. Unexpectedly, the truck hit a Toyota Calya car with plate number B-1353-RKO which was in front of it.
The hard impact caused Calya to be pushed forward and hit the Toyota Yaris (B-1762-PIN), which then rammed another Toyota Calya (F-1550-JA). This series of accidents continued until the Suzuki Grand Vitara (B-2156-NT) which was in the front row was also affected.
Severe traffic jams, heavy rain makes the situation worse!
Video footage circulating on social media shows the conditions traffic was badly blocked as a result of this incident. Vehicles could only move slowly, while the heavy rain that fell on the scene made the situation worse.
No Casualties, Losses Reach Tens of Millions!
Luckily, there were no fatalities in this accident. However, material losses due to this series of collisions are estimated at IDR 20 million.

Box truck hits LPG truck in Samarinda, helper is trapped & rushed to hospital!
A terrible accident occurred on Jalan P. Suryanata, Bukit Pinang Village, Samarinda Ulu District, right in front of Alley Ruhama, Monday (17/3/2025). The box truck hit the LPG transport truck, causing a helper to be pinned down and have to be rushed to hospital!
Box truck hits LPG truck while avoiding Xenia
The incident started when a speeding box truck suddenly had to avoid a Xenia car which suddenly braked in front of it. As a result, the box truck lost control and hit the back of the LPG truck which was making a U-turn.
The heavy impact caused the two box truck helpers, Riyan and Syaiful, to be trapped in the wrecked cabin, while the truck driver, Acok, suffered leg injuries.
Dramatic Rescue Process!
A rescue team from the Samarinda Fire Department was immediately deployed to evacuate the trapped victims. After a long struggle, the victim was finally extricated and immediately rushed to the emergency room at SMC Samarinda Hospital with serious injuries.
“We immediately moved quickly to save the victims who were trapped in the body of the truck. Luckily all the victims were able to be evacuated and received medical assistance,” said Head of the Fire and Rescue Service, Hendra AH.
LPG Truck Driver Shocked!
On the other hand, the LPG truck driver, Andriansyah, admitted that he was shocked when the box truck suddenly hit the back of his vehicle.
“I saw that the left side was safe before turning around. But suddenly there was a hard collision on the left rear of my truck,” he explained.

Plane Crashes into the Sea After Takeoff, 12 People Die, Including Famous Musicians!
A terrible tragedy occurred in Honduran waters! A light plane crashed into the sea shortly after taking off from Roatan Island on Monday evening (17/3/2025). This incident killed 12 people, including the famous Honduran musician, Aurelio Martinez Suazo.
The plane crashed only 1 km from the beach
The Jetstream plane belonging to local airline Lanhsa was carrying 15 passengers and three crew members, bound for La Ceiba Airport on mainland Honduras. However, shortly after leaving the runway, the plane suddenly made a sharp turn to the right and crashed into the sea!
Rescuers found the wreckage about one kilometer from the coast of Roatan Island. To date, 12 people have been reported dead, five others have survived, while one person is still listed as missing.
Foreigner Victim and Famous Musician Died on the Spot!
According to a flight manifest leaked to local media, the plane’s passengers included a United States citizen, a French citizen and two minors.
One of the most high-profile deaths was musician Aurelio Martinez Suazo, a well-known member of the Garifuna music community. His tragic passing rocked the Honduran music scene.
Meanwhile, a 40-year-old French survivor suffered serious injuries and will soon be evacuated to a hospital in San Pedro Sula.
Cause of Accident? Suspected Engine Failure!
Honduran civil aviation authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash. However, initial suspicions stated that the plane experienced engine failure before finally falling into the sea.
“The plane appeared to make a sharp turn to the right before losing control and crashing into the water,” said Honduran aviation official Carlos Padilla.
Meanwhile, Roatan Fire Department Captain Franklin Borjas confirmed that the incident occurred just moments after the plane took off.

Warteg in South Tangerang Burns, 8 Year Old Boy Dies Trapped in Fire
A major fire broke out at a warteg on Jalan Raya Serpong, South Tangerang, on Tuesday (18/3/2025) at midnight. In this tragic incident, an 8 year old boy with the initials A died horribly after being trapped in the flames.
Fire breaks out from the second floor, residents panic!
According to the South Tangerang Fire Brigade (Danton) Platoon Commander, Sahroni, the fire occurred at around 23.43 WIB. A resident named Budi who was near the location smelled smoke and saw fire burning from the second floor of the warteg.
At that time, three residents of the warteg, N (55), S (42), and SS (14), looked panicked and were trapped on the second floor. They were forced to jump to save themselves, while Budi tried to catch them.
However, amidst the panic, one of the victims shouted that there was still a small child trapped inside!
Rescue Effort Failed, Poor Boy Died on the Spot!
Realizing there were other victims, Budi tried to break down the door on the first floor, but the fire was too big. He also asked local residents and gas station employees to immediately contact the fire department.
The South Tangerang City Fire and Rescue Team deployed three fire engines and 15 personnel to the location. After around 37 minutes of fighting with the fire, the fire was finally extinguished at 00.20 WIB.
Unfortunately, the 8 year old boy’s life could not be saved. His body was found in a terrible condition and immediately taken to the Tangerang District Hospital.
The cause of the fire is suspected to be an electrical short circuit
Based on initial information, the fire is thought to have been triggered by an electrical short circuit originating from the second floor of the warteg. Until now, the amount of losses cannot be ascertained because the survivors are still in a state of shock and are undergoing treatment at the North Serpong Regional Hospital.
This incident is a warning for all parties to be more alert to the risk of fire due to electrical short circuits. Hopefully the victim’s family will be given courage for the tragedy that occurred.

Chemical factory in Serang explodes before breaking the fast, residents panic and electricity goes out
The atmosphere for breaking the fast in Puloampel District, Serang Regency, suddenly turned tense after one of the PT Sulfindo Adiusaha Chemical Factory plants experienced a fire on Saturday (15/3/2025) evening. This incident began with a loud explosion that shocked local residents.
Big Explosion Before Fire!
According to a resident, Salimudin, before the fire engulfed the factory area, a very loud explosion was heard, causing local residents to panic.
“There was an explosion earlier, when we were about to break the fast. What caught fire was in the boiler area. Black smoke rose so high that it could be seen from afar,” said Salimudin to reporters.
As a result of this incident, electricity was cut off around residential areas, adding to tension at the scene.
Officers Move Quickly, Fire Successfully Extinguished!
Even though it caused concern, the fire did not burn for long. The fire brigade team that immediately arrived at the location managed to control the situation before the fire spread.
“Several fire engines arrived immediately, so the fire could be extinguished quickly,” added Salimudin, who is familiarly called Kang Salim.
However, residents are still worried about the possible impact of radiation or dangerous chemicals that could affect their health.
The factory is still silent!
Until this news was written, the management of PT Sulfindo Adiusaha had not provided official information regarding the cause of the fire or its impact on the surrounding environment.
Residents hope that incidents like this will not happen again, considering that chemical factories should have extra strict security systems to prevent dangerous accidents.
“We are afraid of the impact, especially since this is a chemical factory. Security must be stricter, so that incidents like this don’t happen again!” concluded Kang Salim.

Deadly Tragedy in the Natuna Sea! Ship Carrying 80 Tons of Diesel Burns, 1 Killed & 2 Burned
A heavy fire hit the wooden fuel ship, KM Lyyra, in Subi waters, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands, on Tuesday (18/3/2025) early morning at around 05.00 WIB. This incident resulted in one crew member dying, while two others suffered serious burns.
KM Lyyra, a ship weighing 46 Gross Tons (GT), is known to carry 80 tons of diesel which is usually distributed to Diesel Power Plants (PLTD) in the Subi and Midai areas. However, this trip turned into a disaster after a fire suddenly broke out on the ship.
The victim who died in this incident was Aspandi (65), Head of the ship’s Engineering Room (KKM). His body was found floating not far from the fire location and was handed over to his family for burial.
Meanwhile, Eli (62), the captain, and Sopian Mahdi, the crew member (ABK), suffered serious burns and are currently undergoing treatment at the Subi Health Center. Two other crew members reportedly survived without experiencing significant injuries.
Serasan Police Chief, Ipda HV Anto Sirait, confirmed that investigations were still ongoing to reveal the exact cause of the fire. Authorities also reminded seafarers to be more careful when handling highly flammable fuel oil.
This ship fire is a deep sorrow for the victim’s family and is a warning of the high dangers of transporting fuel in waters.

Coal Barge Explodes in Lamongan Sea, Fire Devours Two Ships
A powerful explosion rocked the waters north of Lamongan, precisely in the Lamongan Integrated Shorebase (LIS) area, Kemantren Village, Paciran District, on Thursday (13/3/2025) morning. A barge carrying coal suddenly exploded and caught fire, causing a severe fire which also consumed two other ships, namely the tug boat Roselyne 08 and the tanker MT Ronggolawe with a capacity of 300 DT.
According to Kasihumas Lamongan Police, Ipda M. Hamzaid, the barge that exploded was known to be far from the Lamongan Shorebase Harbor pier and was queuing to dock. Tug boat Roselyne 08, which is tasked with towing large ships to the dock, was also affected by this explosion.
15 people were successfully evacuated from this terrible incident. A total of 12 victims suffered minor injuries and are currently under medical observation, while three other victims had to be rushed to Dr Suyudi General Hospital for further treatment.
Until now, the exact cause of the explosion is still being investigated by the police. AKP I Nyoman Ardita, Kasat Polairud Lamongan Police, stated that the investigation process is still ongoing to reveal the factors that triggered the incident and the impacts it had.
Local resident, Sunarji, admitted that he heard several loud explosions that occurred at around 06.00 WIB. The explosion caused a large fire, followed by thick black smoke which rose high and was clearly visible from the ground.
