Work Accident During School Renovation, Construction Worker Suffers Serious Injury<\/b><\/h3>\n

A construction worker named Gusnadianto (48) had a serious accident while renovating the building of SDN 02 Parit Merdeka, Simpang Empat Village, Tangaran District, Sambas Regency. The tragic incident occurred several days ago, when Gusnadianto fell from the stairs of a collapsed scaffold while doing wall cement plastering work.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a result of the accident, Gusnadianto suffered serious head injuries and had to be treated intensively at Singkawang City Hospital. According to information from Yuyun, Gusnadianto’s wife, her husband fainted and became unconscious due to a blow to the head suffered during the work accident.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yuyun said that the construction party responsible for the school renovation project had not provided any compensation to his family. Even though the construction team came to visit Gusnadianto in hospital, since then there has been no further news regarding the expected compensation.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The husband is the backbone of the family, but currently he is still recovering and cannot return to work,” said Yuyun in a sad tone.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also emphasized that the results of the medical diagnosis from Abdul Aziz Regional Hospital showed that Gusnadianto was in a serious condition with the main diagnosis being “Intracerebral Hemorrhage” or bleeding in the brain. According to the doctor, Gusnadianto needs adequate rest for two months to recover.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gusnadianto’s family really hopes that the construction company can provide fair compensation as a form of responsibility for the work accident that befell Gusnadianto. With this compensation, it is hoped that it can ease the family’s financial burden and support Gusnadianto’s recovery process so he can return to living a normal life.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Bank worker crushed by a safe in Surabaya, suffered a broken sternum and died<\/b><\/h3>\n

    A tragedy struck a bank worker in Surabaya, who died after being hit by a safe while working on Jalan Perak Timur. This unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday (24\/1\/2024) at around 11.30 WIB. The victim, known as Rosyidi, comes from Karpote Hamlet, Konang District, Bangkalan.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Head of Darlog BPBD Linmas Surabaya, Buyung Hidayat, revealed the chronology of the accident. Rosyidi was trying to lower the safe from the bank office, but unfortunately the pulley used was unable to support the weight of the safe. As a result, the safe fell and hit Rosyidi, causing fractures to his chest which ultimately led to his death.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Rosyidi’s co-workers immediately contacted Command Center 112 Surabaya after learning about the incident. The joint team immediately arrived at the location to evacuate the victims and carry out the crime scene (TKP). This process involved officers from the Tanjung Perak Harbor Police Inafis, Surabaya City BPBD, and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Surabaya.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Unfortunately, on the way to the hospital, Rosyidi was declared dead due to the injuries he suffered. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Tanjung Perak Port Police, Surabaya, Inspector M Prasetya, stated that his party was investigating the case by examining a number of witnesses and evidence at the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Fishing Boat from Tuban Lost Contact in Sumenep Waters. 12 crew members lost and 1 person survived<\/b><\/h3>\n

      A tragedy befell a family of fishermen from Tuban, East Java, after the motor ship (KM) Berkah Amina 2 carrying 13 crew members (ABK) was reported to have lost contact and is thought to have sunk in Sumenep waters. This incident occurred on Friday (26\/1), and to date, only one crew member has been found safe.<\/span><\/p>\n

      KM Berkah Amina 2, owned by fishermen from Bancar District, lost contact and did not return to Tuban as scheduled. Head of the Tuban Police Water and Air Police Unit (Satpolairud), AKP Dean Tommy Rimbawan, explained that of the 13 crew members, only one person named Bagus Triyono was found safe on the coast of Dungkek District, Sumenep.<\/span><\/p>\n

      The search for the other 12 crew members is still ongoing by the authorities. Bagus Triyono stated that the ship departed on January 20 and was supposed to return on January 26. It was discovered that the ship had a leak on Sunday (21\/1) at around 17.30 WIB when the crew members were raising fishing nets. As a result, the ship drifted in the middle of the sea and the incoming water caused the ship’s engine to stop.<\/span><\/p>\n

      High waves pushed the ship upside down, and the crew members were tossed about in the ocean. Bagus, the victim who survived, managed to reach the coast of Sumenep after the rope tied to his body was untied. Meanwhile, the other eight crew members whose identities are known are Karjani, Suranto, Eko, Arifin, Didik, Veli and Sukirman.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Satpolairud is still carrying out investigations and coordinating with the ship owner to identify crew members who have not been found. The search process with the East Java SAR Team is still ongoing in an effort to find victims who have not yet been found.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Fire in Blangkejeren City Village, Gayo Lues: 80 People Displaced Without Casualties<\/b><\/h3>\n

        The Gayo Lues Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded a dramatic incident when a fire hit Blangkejeren City Village, Blangkejeren District, on Saturday morning. Around 80 residents were forced to flee because 18 housing units were engulfed by the red rooster. Luckily, there were no casualties in this incident.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Muhammad Saleh, Head of the Gayo Lues BPBD Emergency and Logistics Division, stated that the victims were currently being evacuated to refugee tents and the local Musara Hall Building. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is strongly suspected to be caused by an electrical short circuit.<\/span><\/p>\n

        BPBD Gayo Lues responded quickly by deploying a fleet of seven fire trucks to extinguish the fire and clean up the debris. The fire was successfully extinguished at around 06.30 WIB, providing a little calm in this worrying situation.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Bad Weather Delays Cargo Ship Sailing at Makassar’s Paotere People’s Harbor<\/b><\/h3>\n

          Bad weather has caused dozens of cargo ships passing through eastern Indonesian waters to become stranded at the People’s Port of Paotere, Makassar, South Sulawesi. This situation has caused an increase in operational costs for cargo ships which are forced to wait for permission to sail.<\/span><\/p>\n

          This condition has been going on for the past month, where cargo ships have been forced to moor at the port dock even though their cargo is full and ready to sail to a number of areas in Eastern Indonesia. One example is the Cahaya Rahmat ship which was supposed to sail from Makassar to Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, but has been waiting for two weeks for permission to sail due to bad weather in Flores sea waters.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The crew of the Cahaya Rahmat ship, Saibun, stated that the risk at sea due to bad weather made the cargo owner choose to postpone departure. A similar thing was experienced by the Tunas Bahari cargo ship which had been waiting for permission to sail for almost a month due to bad weather which was considered dangerous.<\/span><\/p>\n

          The captain of the Cahaya Rahmat ship, Abbas, revealed that they were still waiting for developments in weather forecasts from the local BMKG for the next week before deciding to sail. Meanwhile, the cost of living for the ship’s crew continues to increase while waiting, coupled with a decrease in profit sharing due to delays in cargo delivery.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Bad weather problems in Eastern Indonesian waters have also reduced the number of shipping to and from Makassar’s Paotere Port, while cargo ships are forced to wait for the weather to improve before sailing safely again.<\/span><\/p>\n

            Tragic! Deadly Bus vs Truck Accident in Gresik, Five Lives Lost<\/b><\/h3>\n

            A deadly accident involving a tourist bus and a truck occurred in Bungah, Gresik, East Java. The bus was carrying a pilgrimage group from Pasuruan and crashed into a truck, resulting in five people being killed and dozens of others injured.<\/span><\/p>\n

            The accident occurred on Saturday (27\/1\/2024) at around 21.50 WIB on Jalan Raya Bungah, Kemangi Village, Bungah, Gresik. The tourist bus was carrying passengers from a pilgrimage group from Jedak Hamlet, Pasuruan, who were on their way home from Sunan Bonang’s grave in Tuban.<\/span><\/p>\n

            According to the Head of the Gresik Police Traffic Accident Unit, Iptu Tita Puspita Agustina, it is suspected that the bus driver lacked concentration because he was tired and sleepy. As a result, the bus swerved to the right past the center line and hit a trontoon truck traveling in the opposite direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

            The accident resulted in the truck being pushed backwards and hitting a tree. The police concluded that the accident occurred because the bus driver was sleepy.<\/span><\/p>\n

            From this accident, five people died and dozens of others were injured. One victim who was previously hospitalized was also reported to have died. This condition caused deep sorrow for the victim’s family and the surrounding community.<\/span><\/p>\n

              Gallon Truck Driver, Suspect in Deadly Accident and Positive for Consuming Drugs in Simalungun<\/b><\/h3>\n

              A fatal accident tragedy rocked Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra, when a gallon truck driver named Dedi Setiadi was named a suspect. Simalungun Police Chief, AKBP Choky Sentosa Meliala, revealed that Dedi Setiadi was a suspect after the truck he was driving hit five cars and five motorbikes on the public road between Km 24-25 in the direction of Pematangsiantar towards Pematang Raya. This tragic incident left six people dead and four others injured.<\/span><\/p>\n

              When a urine test was carried out on the perpetrator, the results showed that Dedi Setiadi was positive for consuming crystal methamphetamine. The perpetrator’s confession also revealed that he consumed the drug four days before the accident occurred.<\/span><\/p>\n

              Previously, Head of Simalungun Police Traffic Unit, Inspector Jonny Sinaga, explained that the accident was caused by a brake failure on a box truck carrying a gallon load. This tragedy shows the importance of road safety and law enforcement against drivers who use drugs while driving.<\/span><\/p>\n
