A travel carDayTransA passenger was involved in a tragic accident with a rock-carrying truck on the Cipularang Toll Road at Km 77 heading towards Jakarta early Monday (10\/13\/2025). The incident resulted in the death of one passenger and injuries to nine others.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the statementKaindukCipularang Highway Patrol Commissioner Joko Prihantono stated that the deceased was sitting in the front left seat of the travel vehicle. “The deceased was sitting in the front left seat,” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

The accident occurred at around 05.10 WIB, when the DayTrans travel car with police number D-7754-AJ hit the back of a dump truck with police number B-9256-PYV which was driving in lane two.<\/span><\/p>\n

The deceased victim was identified as Tatang Muhidin (51), a resident of Mekarsari Subdistrict, Banjar City. Tatang died at the scene and was immediately evacuated to Abdul Rozak Hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initial suspicion is that the travel driver named Ibnu Suhud (35) fell asleep while driving from Bandung to Jakarta, so he didn’t have time to avoid the truck in front of him.<\/span><\/p>\n
